Hope you all had a lovely weekend, enjoying whatever you love most. Whereas I had a tongue-smacking experience at Sydney’s Good Food & Wine Show in Sydney’s Convention Centre, Darling Harbour.
Thanks to my closest friend who won tickets from some unknown competition, she managed to invite me along. I was very thrilled to be spending my weekend on the most tasty experience ever, testing my tastebuds along with it.
It took a while to get out of bed, especially when it was really gloomy and cold winds passing through the window cracks. We meet up during the busy peak hour of lunch time and it was crazy packed with couples, families and even a small tour group.
My best friend during the entire show ($3) was the wine glass and you could use this to try ANY wine that the show was offering

Have you heard of Chilli Beer? By Matso’s, I’m telling you one sip got me screaming!
Besides crazy chilli beer Matso’s have Ciders, lime and mango flavour
Was really shocked Kweichow Moutai was on display. It’s rare to see this bottle in Sydney. For all readers that don’t know what’s Moutai, it’s Chinese liquor with 53% alcohol. It is reminiscent of soy sauce, pear, walnut and almond.
Had a quick coffee stop at Nespresso, was worth the stop.
Like some spice in your life? Curry Traders has really awesome traditional spices.
Moscato won our tastebuds, perfect sweetness and bubble levels, that convinced us to purchase six bottles for ($50)
Was very fascinated with scramble egg mix! By Puregg . Never knew this could ever exist!
Was very curious why there was a stall for Google Social. Asked around and apparently if you did five restaurant reviews you’d get a free wine glass! Guess who got one? 😀
ALDI had the most amazing triple cream brie cheese, I couldn’t stop getting seconds! It was unfortunate they weren’t selling the cheese and cracker products that day, except the coffee machines.
Headed down to the celebrity theatre, where Maggie Beer and Curtis Stone cooked up a storm.
After the shows ended, we landed in front of this amazing mini croquembouche tower. Decorated with macaron buns.
Quick stop to Adora, which provides lovely creamy smooth chocolate. Yummy!
Look at all that charcuterie selections!
By the end of the day I bought mixed beers, rice wine and moscato. Managed to score myself a few freebies! Till next time Good Food & Wine Show 😀
